Huttser and Palla

Huttser and Palla howl together in the night, forever together as Dragga and Drappa.

Although I have not yet finished the Sight, I have been captivated by there two from the beginning. Their love for their family and strength through hard tmes that has kept them together inspired me to draw them.

I took some time to design Huttser, I wanted to get the tinge of red he had in the book. In my research of wolves I found a picture of one with strong dark lines around his face, I thought this a perfect design for Huttser’s proud face. Palla was ad-libed when I drew the picture, I knew she had to look beautiful and that was it.

I am quite proud of this picture, it was draw and coloured in about an hour and took only 30 min to edit n my crappy computer and add in the sky and stars.
